Happy Birthday Wyatt!
I can’t believe it has already been a year! Time flies by. Mom, big brother Davis, and the birthday boy himself, came in for his first birthday session. It was the last of the six sessions we have had over the last year. Our Babies First Year includes 6 photo sittings and a 20 page leather bound album. One of my all time favorite albums was the one Belle Amie Studios created for Wyatt’s older brother, Davis, of his first year. By the looks of this cutie I am sure I will have another favorite. I have gotten a chance to really get to know Wyatt over this past year for he and my own son, Logan are best friends. Wyatt has a hint of rambunctiousness in him, but he is as sweet as they come!

Copper Family at Crystal Cove
The Coopers have been coming to Belle Amie Studios for years. This time around we spent our session at Crystal Cove Beach. I love these two little girls. Don’t they almost look like they are from another era or time? They have such a unique look to them, one I can’t really but my finger on. Both parents hail from Europe and I love to hear them speak to each other. I thought it was fitting (and very European) that the girls were itching to be in their birthday suits by the end of the session. Who am I to object?
The Wedge and some sand…it’s not what you’re thinking!
I love to be able to start in studio and them move on location. Studio time tends to be the warm up for the session and then the craziness ensues on location.
First on our agenda today was pictures of the Johnson family at Belle Amie Studios. Check. Next head over the the Wedge for some family fun. Check. Nice weather. Check. Get wet. Check. Laugh. Check check. We all had a great time.
Shelly and her husband are awaiting their second child and decided before things got to hectic to enjoy a day with me out at the beach with their 13 month old son, Cayden. Cayden was a huge fan of the sand, I think we even captured a few images of him eating the sand. That can’t be too good! I’m sure this would be the perfect thing to teach your new baby brother or sister.
Capri and Sienna Photos
These two beautiful girls have been coming to the studio since before they were born. Mommy found us when she was pregnant with big sister, and since then we have done lots of shoots for this Newport family. My favorite shot is mom, dad, and the girls all looking at each other. At first, Sienna didn’t want us to go near “her baby.” She is turning out to be a great big sister.

Melissa’s Baby: Logan Sky at 9 months
This is studio owner, Melissa Olsen’s, baby boy. Logan is crawling everywhere, “talking” to everyone, and making pretty eyes at the ladies. Taking photos of him is so rewarding. He is always smiling for the camera and posing. He is a natural. The last shot is daddy taking him home in the new bike trailer.
La La La La Leina’s World
How sweet faced is this little princess? Leina and her family came into the studio on Saturday to have her nine month pictures taken. Her bright smile was picture perfect when her Daddy sang her the Elmo song. Leina’s big blue eyes and two teeth smile were simply adorable! Belle Amie looks forward to photographing you and your family in the future.
